Our 12-36 loss against Queens in the first home game of the season was disappointing, but there were some positives to take away, including the introduction of fresh talent with Nathan Montague making his debut at scrum half.

Deepings had a slow start, allowing Queens to capitalise with three early tries, making it tough to catch up. However, the team's grit and determination shone through, with a much stronger second-half performance, featuring two tries from Man of the Match Pierce Knox and a conversion by Ciaran Thompson
