Nick ‘Pinky’ Floyde has been an invaluable member of our club, bringing dedication, enthusiasm, and a wealth of experience. With a strong vision for the future and a commitment to our community, we are confident that Nick will lead us to new heights.

A message from our New President…

I am incredibly honoured and feel a strong sense of duty as I step into the position of Club President. For those unfamiliar with my background, my association with Deepings Rugby Union FC started in 2003, and I have dedicated many years to serving the club with pride. From 2013 onward, I have been actively involved as a player, and I had the privilege of coaching the minis and juniors from 2006 to 2018. During this time, I witnessed firsthand the incredible growth and passion that characterise our club.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Nic 'Nobby' Coupland for his tremendous contributions over the years. His dedication as a player, coach, and most recently as Club President has been invaluable. His unwavering commitment and hard work have significantly shaped the club, and we are deeply appreciative of all he has done.
What I love most about Deepings is its welcoming nature. Everyone here, from the players to the supporters, exudes friendliness, creating an atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. It’s this sense of community that makes our club truly special and drives our shared commitment to rugby.

The future of Deepings Rugby Union FC is incredibly bright. With the introduction of initiatives like 555 and the Ducks, we are poised for increased success on and off the field. Our strong ‘Dinos’ vets’ team and thriving women's section ‘The Devils’ are testament to our inclusive and dynamic environment. Additionally, the potential within our mini & junior section ‘the Dragons’ is incredibly exciting. These programs are essential for developing young talent and fostering a love for the game.

I am both humbled and honoured to have been asked to fulfil this role. Leading this club, which means so much to me, is a privilege I do not take lightly. Together, I believe we can achieve great things and continue to build on the strong foundation of camaraderie and excellence that defines Deepings Rugby Union FC.
