The Official Newspaper of The RFU September 2013 Issue 160

The September issue of Touchline is now available with all the current news from the RFU.

With the QBE Internationals heading for Twickenham, business insurance specialist QBE has wrapped up this month's Touchline bringing news of their commitment to rugby and especially the QBE Coaching Club, which former Scotland captain Budge Pountney is keen to praise in the publication.

The Greene King IPA Championship kicks off in style, while the 1993 Calcutta Cup winning front row returns to Twickenham to re-engage. Wellington College wins the Cronk-Cunis National U21 festival for a record fifth time and Manu Tuilagi makes a NatWest Schools Cup return as he trains with his old school, John Cleveland in Leicestershire, as they compete in this season's competition, Manu's squad having won the U18s Schools Vase in 2009.

In the Schools and Colleges Rugby supplement for the new academic year there's news of the launch of a one-day coaching course for secondary school teachers; clarification on the IRB's new scrum engagement trial and a whole heap of summer rugby initiatives in colleges around the country, from Devon beach rugby to party touch on the Tyne.

All this and more in the September Touchline.
